Pizzeria Beddia

As soon as I knew I was coming to Philly this place was going to be one of my definite go-to's as it is currently ranked in the top 101 pizza places in the country by daily meals! This was one of the few times where Google maps didn't lead me to the right location and I had to actually ask a local where it was, so keep that in mind if you're getting here in the same fashion! Lol I end up being led down a narrow alleyway with poor lighting and shown a single door and told that's it. When I walked inside I've never been more shocked as the interior was absolutely beautiful! They have a small outdoor but enclosed dining area which had a handful of fancy patio heaters. The inside was even nicer and was very upscale for a pizza place! I went with their standard cheese as they wouldn't do a half cheese half pepperoni as I prefer to order. The crust was very thin and nice and crispy but while very good it almost had a little too much going on. I'm not sure if it was the sauce or the combination of cheeses but something was just slightly off-putting. Almost seem as if they were trying a little too hard to either make it unique or fancy.
