The hype was always going to be difficult to live up to, but the disappointment still surprised me. The dough is top notch, they’ve mastered that aspect. The sauce is mute, other than the very olive oil taste (which I don’t like) there is no flavor savory or sweet. The cheese is definitely high quality but when you put it all together it just feels slightly flavorless and flat. 7.8 for dough alone.

Great pizza all around. Crust, sauce, and ingredients were all top notch. Specialty pizzas are highly recommended. Maybe the best in Philadelphia. Very busy place.

This is a special place with excellent pies. The rugged exterior (including barbed wire barriers!) stands in sharp contrast to the simple yet elegant interior and food. Excellent pizza checking all the boxes including delicate crunchy charred crust, great sauce in perfect cheese proportion.

This is very solid. Definitely a visit again. Well done but has a little flop. Little greasy. Sauce could use a little more rich tomato flavor but it pairs really well with the rest of the pizza. Good za.

Great great sauce. I didn’t order it well done but the crisp was good. The grease from the roni wasn’t overbearing either. Ate the whole muddafucka!!

Very light and crispy. You can have a whole pie and not feel weighed down after! Highly suggest the greens pie as well.

Once hailed as the “Best Pizza in the World”. Eh. I mean it’s good; it’s a far stretch from the best. Light and crispy crust. Sauce is flavorful but lacking in quantity. I think the cheese is good but can’t be sure because there is so little of it. Like I said, good not great. And for the price definitely not great.

I am writing this with tears in my eyes, upset that it has taken me this long to try Pizzeria Beddia. Might be the best plain pizza I have ever tried. Beautifully crafted, with a uniquely flavorful sauce and excellent cheese on top. Thin-crust and crushable overall, with great bite on the crust. Top tier stuff, worthy of telling your Nonna about.
