Pizzeria Tivoli

I ordered a 12" shrimp pesto pizza with sausage l from pizza tivoli. It ended up being about $22 and was ready within a half hour on a friday evening. Not sure exactly what style of pizza this is. There was quite a bit of pesto on the pizza, which is fine by me. Very buttery garlic texture to it. Crust has a great coal fired char to it. Crust to other ingredient ratio was a little high, but not overwhelming. Shrimp, tomatoes, and sausage all high quality. Overall a great pizza to get ob the south side of stl city, especially if you want to stray away from stl style.

Peps on point. Cheese is delish. Crust is cooked to perfection and tastes great!

I had high expectations based on how good the pizza looked. That said, it had zero crisp and was beyond floppy.

Looked good upon first inspection. They burned it on one side a little, but it was still edible. Nice crispy crust but lots of flop for such a small slice. (Whole pie is only 12") Sauce was far more bland than I expected by the appearance. Slightly sweet but not a lot of zing. Good fresh buffalo mozzarella and topped off with basil and olive oil. Could have done without the oil honestly. They put on a lot and it was just a little greasy because of this. Not bad pizza by any means. Little less flop, more seasoning in the sauce, and less oil and this pizza was in the high sevens/low eights. Unfortunately I gotta lock the 6.4 in forever.

Fresh Mozzarella is good... sauce doesn’t have much flavor. Has a lot of flop.

Solid sauce and a light crunchy crust.
