Pop’s Pizza Federal Way This was on a website as the 9th best pizza in all of Washington State. I’m excited, the owner looked like an old Italian guy with the accent and all. This is a really good looking pizza, thin with a crisp looking crust with some spices visible in the sauce so here it goes.... Yes!!! This is really really good, best so far. The crust had the perfect texture and gluten ratio. What would take this over the top is aging the crust longer to get the yeasty alcohol flavor found in great slices from New York. The sauce has the perfect mix of Italian spices and tomato sweetness. There’s something a little salty hitting my tongue, I can’t tell if it has something to do with the corn meal or not. Other than the salt and aging of the dough, this rocks.. I’m going 8.4 bites. I’d drive to have another slice.
