Primavera Pizza

The Portnoy is in full affect. 90 minute wait at 3:00 on a Wednesday. That turned into 135 minutes. The owner told me he is so worried about letting people down, he just wants his customers happy. He said he feels like he is in rough seas. The pizza is incredible. Very thin. Very crispy. Great flavor.

Marg + garlic Very very good worth the wait. Be early for your pick up time. Catch it fresh out. AWESOME!

I do respect this place, and maybe I just had a weird batch. The ratios of everything were way off. Too much cheese, too little sauce. Salt level in the cheese was very high. I’m not even sure if the cheese blend had much mozzarella, to be honest. Soggy undercarriage because of an extremely large amount of grease. Probably could benefit from having some ridges in the box. Dough was a great recipe though. At this point, I’m not sure if I'd get this pizza again. The pricing was very good, however, and I can definitely respect the value for what you’re paying.

This is from last year but the video made me think of the time I literally took one bite and took a picture because it was the best pizza I’d had in Michigan

Fantastic pie. All the ratios were perfect. Great crunch in the undercarriage and crust, the sauce was very flavorful with an excellent acid bite, the cheese layer was thin enough so you can taste the crust, sauce, and cheese together. I asked how long the dough was fermented, the answer was, “as long as it takes.”

Thin, crispy, chewy, little/no flop with nice char. Awesome pizza.

Been coming for a few years. I rarely eat anywhere else..quality is always the best. Good crisp and chew on the dough. I wish I lived closer.

Don’t go here and get the normal pepperoni or the normal Dave’s way cheese. You have to try the margarita by far the best pizza he makes.!!!!!!’

Been to all the New Haven joints. This is right up there with them. Insane to have this in MI. Best pizza hands down in MI.

Had not heard of this place until today. It was about a 20 minute drive, but worth it. I ordered a large 1/2 with pepperoni. As soon as the girl handed me the box I honestly wondered if there was a pizza in it because it was so light. Then I saw some charred crust sticking out a corner as the lid could not shut properly. Once I opened the lid I saw it was cut with no care about the symmetry of slices, some big, some small. The pizza itself was not greasy and the first cheese slice I picked only had a little flop at the tip. The undercarriage was solid and the crust around the entire pizza had a nice dark brown to burnt char on it. The first bite revealed that paper crisp sound. The flavor was exceptional without too much sauce. Every bite was a crunch. The pepperoni was just as good with fresh tasting, but not overly spicy mini-meat frisbees. None of them bowled up on the pizza when cooked, which I was happy about because they hold tons of grease when they do that. Great pizza that I will be returning for.
