Provence Pizza

This is the first time that I was cat fished by a pizza place. This place went under new ownership as of a week ago and the pizza looks nothing like the photos. The pizza resembles a slightly lighter Costco pie. Crazy flop, no char, and way too much mozzarella. If you like a cheese blanket on your pizza this is the place for you. Avoid.

Alright Frankie Provence, the sauce is good, good crust, but terrible cheese and very floppy, not that good, 5.2 that’s a review.

Light pizza. Good simple sauce. Droopy. Overall taste is good. Crust is a little too “cornmeal-ie” if that’s a term? Cheese tastes like ricotta and is grainy and not chewy.

The perfect taste of a Neapolitan, it’s straight from Italy with the best crust I ever had. It’s so delicious, the sauce with the basil taste, the mozzarella that melts perfectly but most importantly a unique pizza crust that has some sour and crisp. It’s the best of the best, I wonder how they made the crust !

Ouch! Smoking! This pizza deserves to be a top notch. I tried it on my way out of Lunardi’s, never expected to have a true Neapolitan crust, with a fresh sauce and cheese, added a couple of eggs the pizza deserves a 10/10! It’s best in the Bay Area

tried a cheese pizza and neapolitan pesto, i have to say this the best crust i have even tried my life, it’s is unbelievably delicious, with the mozzarella melting to the chewy crust, so much flavor, you just feel like you are eating something that you want to eat often. the pizza is super thin, the sauce is so fresh ! i think this is a 9.8/10 pizza. The k ly reason why it’s not a 10 is because if you order it to go, it loses the tast so quickly because it is super thin.

Great taste. Sauce is excellent. A little light on the cheese side and a crispier undercarriage would make this an 8+

I wish I had more time for this review, but I’ll spell my thoughts out on paper. This place was formally known as Forge Pizza and its now under new ownership. They preserved their wood-fire oven, and their crust is one of the top two crusts I’ve ever eaten in my life. The sauce was lacking, needing oregano, and the cheese was almost too fresh, melting into the pie and not providing that cheesy flavor. Added red pepper flakes and parm at the end to give it some zing. Really great pizza. Best thin crust Neopolitan pizza in the Tri-Valley area.
