Red Zeppelin Pizza

Great atmosphere, great pizza, and Fara is a great server!

Love the atmosphere and my waitress was the best. I thought this would be better but I had a few reservations with this pizza. I liked the thin style, slightly charred, crispy crust, but I wasn’t a fan of the taste of the cheese. I’m not an expert on cheese but it almost tasted like asiago or some blend with mozzarella. Whatever it is it’s just not my preference. The crust was actually my favorite part. Very quickly the pizza started getting chewy and kinda difficult to separate and bite into. Overall it’s still a good pizza but I won’t go out of my way for it. The atmosphere is worth it though, it’s a cool place to hang out for sure if you can get a table.

First things first, whoever cut this pizza has no idea what the hell they’re doing. Be that as it may, this is good tasting pizza. The undercarriage was much better than I would have expected looking at it. My main critique is that I feel like Red Zeppelin is being a tad conservative with their pizza. This pizza felt like it was afraid to wow me. Still a good pie though. Good not great. 7.2 that’s a review.

Ordered a half cheese half pep pie- extra crispy. Did not disappoint. About 16 bucks for a large, fair price. No flop, crispy cracker like crust bottom. Sauce has a nice little sweetness to it but nothing out of this world. Good ratio of ingredients, not too greasy. As a result of all that, this is probably the best pie I’ve had in Baton Rouge. And also really good looking.

One cracker crust pizza with no sauce, everyone knows it’s terrible

Really good pizza. Great tasting cheese, could’ve used more red sauce. A lot of grease but great name and 2 Led Zeppelin songs were playing while eating to boost the score a little

Anything below a 6 is a gross injustice and I think you might not have taste buds.

Crust is not crispy except right on the edges, way too doughy and chewy. Cheese is ok not the greatest, sauce is ok not the greatest. This pizza falls short. 3.4, that’s a review.
