Large wood-fired Neapolitan pizza to go with lobster rolls, steak & seafood…not your typical pizzeria. Much like restaurants with the personal size wood-fired Neapolitan pies as a side hustle, this pizza is a larger version with the usual super soft dough and zero crisp. However, the dough is rather tasty, nice char with a smokey flavor but very floppy and a little chewy. The sauce is somewhat sweet but mostly neutral, lacking spice, no punch or kick, just straight up plain marinara tomato sauce. The cheese is outstanding: creamy, melty, a lava-like smooth texture, delectably delicious, the star of the pie. But as good as the cheese is, the lack of crisp leaves this pizza with no backbone and the sauce needs some improvement as well. If they can crisp up the dough & spice up the sauce, maybe this pie approaches the low 8s; but as it stands, the excellence of the cheese is the only attribute pushing this score in the low 7s. The pizza here is decent but the seafood is probably better.
