Rocco's Pizza

Rocco’s has been on the radar for a while so I snagged it for lunch during the week through the Slice app (highly recommend downloading it). I got the pictured pizza and I got a slice (not pictured). The full pie is a thin. The slice was a double dough. This is a hefty pizza. Lots of cheese and toppings. I’m bringing back the “blue collar pizza” term I first used a couple years ago for Punky’s in Chicago. This pizza will not leave you hungry. It was good. I could see it being a favorite to some. I actually enjoyed the double dough more than the thin, which is unlike me, but the slices are cheap and quick, served early in the day. Sauce was substantial and the sausage chunks are large. Salty and savory flavor and stretchy cheese. Honestly no complaints on this one. Just a good pizza.
