Ok Frankie we are at Romano’s Classic Italian Cuisine (pizza review time July 7th 2:30pm - posted a few days later)... located at 830 Rowntree Dairy Rd in Vaughan... takes about 30min to get a pie - so be sure to call ahead (905) 850-9604)... one bite everyone knows the rules... Place was very busy and that’s good to see... super authentic Italian restaurant with an elaborate menu... but obviously we are here to try the pizza.... the names a dead giveaway and yes it’s a Roman Style Pizza reminds us of a Molisana Pizza in Brampton ... Sauce is sweet ... undercarriage has perfect char ... it did have flop ... ( some would call it pizza perfection Frankie - we wouldn’t - some would - we wouldn’t)... we try them all and we are honest as the day is long ... we never let them know we are coming and we score them 1 to 10 so you don’t have to/ one bite / everyone knows the rules / bite it / score it -> 1 thru 10 -> ingredients were fresh ... crust had perfect crisp ... the cheese was good but so thick - it could’ve been melted more and by the look of the char on the undercarriage that wasn’t possible... but the cheese had minced basil in it and we love that ... Molisana got a 7.8 and with all things taken into consideration Romano’s Roman Style Pie is slightly better ~> all wrapped into one ! 7.9 (professional score) Romano’s Pizza is really great ... bit of that Italian bread in the crust (taste) but they managed to crisp the crust perfectly ... to be honest when we first opened the box it looked like a PIZZANINI Pie and after our first bite we knew that this was a very high quality Roman Style Pie.... way better than Pane Fresco’s take on the Roman Pie ... that one was basically cheesy bread ... believe we gave it a 6.6 and it was actually quite good.... but Romano’s Classic Italian Cuisine’s Roman Pie is on a whole other level ... if the cheese wasn’t so thick ? or melted more ? this pie would’ve been high 8s or possibly in the 9s ... it’s that good! Literally Pizza Perfection 7.9... we will be back that’s a review!
