Best tavern style pizza on the southside. We have been eating this pizza for 50+ years and it is still awesome. Love the cracker crisp crust, the sauce and the sausage they use.

They messed up our order and we received a sausage instead of the special. Was crazy hot out the oven had to wait for it to cool. Pretty good watery sauce, good cheese and firm flat bread. Nothing jaw dropping though but a good pizza

Said to be one of the most popular spots for pizza on the South Side. The crust was cracker flaky, while the dough was thin. Even though the cheese (which Roseangela’s doesn’t skimp on) was nicely caramelized, it didn’t break nicely as you took a bite, causing it all to slide off on your first bite, solely leaving you with crust and sauce. The sauce itself needs work as it was quite acidic, and there was little to no flavor. Looking at the previous reviews, I can tell that some people clearly love pizza from Roseangela’s, but it’s not towards the top of my list by any means.

Excellent pie. Incredible flavor. Good, tangy sauce, cheese tasted fresh. Very satisfied.

Perfect crunch and crisp, one of the best ratios of dough, sauce and cheese in the Chicagoland region; near perfect cook, fresh ingredients, you will never be disappointed from Rosies, one of my favorites

My son says 8.3, I say 8.2. They won’t let me put 8.25. Great neighborhood pizza. Like my son’s cheese half almost as much as my sausage half.

Do yourself a favor and ask for it to be pie cut. I feel the traditional way they cut these pizzas leave waste as folks don’t like the center pieces of the traditional cutting method at this establishment. Decent flop, perfect amount of grease. It’s thin like a cracker and crust has good crunch when bitten into. Sauce has a light tang and isn’t too sweet. I feel confident giving a solid 9.3.

Called one of the southside’s best and can see why. First time having it and while it did not meet all my expectations, it was definitely a good pizza. Crust is the best thing about the pizza. Thickness for a thin crust was also a plus.
