Russo's Coal Fired Italian Kitchen

First, in no way did this pizza reflect coal fired, not in flavor at all. Beyond that, crust had no crisp or char to it. It cooked on a pan in their oven and touched the deck for less than five seconds. Had an okay amount of cheese. Pepperoni was good. Crust was a touch on the sweet side and was chewy. Sauce tasted tomatoe-ey, neither sweet nor tangy. Wasn't a bad thing, just didn't go well with the pizza. This pizza needs work.

Crust 👍, Sauce Mid, Cheese Mid. Good under carriage and nice customer service. Wouldn’t come back.

White Pizza. No flop, good crisp undercarriage. Nice crispy/fluffy crust.

Crust was very fluffy and tasted like dough. Good sauce but I will never order another pizza from here.

I know this place from their Italian food which is the BEST in Tulsa. Unfortunately, the traditional pie falls short. Good crisp but it’s all cheese and no sauce.

Not a great pizza. They advertise as "coal fired", but there is no hint of coal fired taste or smokiness. It's like a plain pizza with a little more thought in it, but without the effort.
