Alright the underrated and dare I say hidden gem of Sal and Lloyd’s. You know the places that get the love on Staten Island. The Joe and Pats, The Brothers, the Deninos. Well Sal and Lloyds I guess don’t have the rep like those places but I think pound for pound one of the best pies on Staten Island. Really good sauce, not too heavy, crispy, a good distribution of cheese. I see on the app that’s it only a 6.4, well The Bull is putting it over. I say it’s great fucking pizza. It does the trick. If you have a few beers at Joyce’s tavern or you got some family visiting your stinky house for the holidays and they want some good old fashion pizza, take them to Sal and Lloyd’s order the pie well done to make sure it’s scolding fucking hot.
