Salerno's Pizzeria

Finally got to try the place Dave Portnoy recently visited since I pass it all the time and overall, the pizza held up OK to my standards. One of the highlights was that the slices had no flop, which I always appreciate in a well-executed pizza. The crust was sturdy without being too thick. The distribution of cheese and sauce was also impressive, perfectly balanced across the pie, providing a consistent flavor in each bite. However, the pizza was a bit on the oily side for my taste, which detracted slightly from the experience. If you’re someone who doesn’t mind a little extra grease, you’ll probably enjoy it. Overall, a solid pizza with great structure and flavor balance.
