First time in Hartford, got off plane, rental car, hotel and made my way to Sally’s Apizza. The staff(Starling/Becca) were great(10.0), Thank you! The pizza was Great, also. Crust and bottom charred/firm and the cheese/sauce was amazing! Definitely worth it! I travel the USA and try to eat the best pizza! No disappointment!

Very good pizza but honestly was expecting it to be better with the hype. Sauce was good but different & seemed almost bland … char was perfect. Thought the slices were too thin & wasn’t a full bite … Honestly Frank Pepe’s is significantly better… just my opinion… it’s worth a try though.

Came in with high expectations, unfortunately the pizza under delivered. Very little flavor, too hot/soupy, and very charred if that’s what you like. The wings were very good.

Overall, great Apizza. Char was excellent and so were the ingredients. It had a little too much flop but really there isn’t much to complain about. Service was great too.

It's a good New Haven pizza! Is it 1:1 to the original? No. There's history, heritage, and experience in those old New Haven ovens that make this new location of a New Haven Pizza institution just a little green yet. Still best pizza you can find around here if you believe that New Haven is the crown jewel of pizza styles.

Pizza was good today, much better cook and closer to Wooster St than last time. Cucumber Collins A+. Out of clams and the garlic shrimp not so good. Have a pizza & cocktail be happy!

Man does this pie disappoint. This is nothing like the Sally’s in New Haven and honestly severely hurts the reputation. The drop off from this to the original is more severe than Pepe’s. Really bad. 7.2, I should honestly give it a 5.2, but the ingredients are still good.
