Sally's Apizza

Well. It's dynamite. The bomb. Drive from Ohio to Stamford ct. it's all that and then some. It's was great. Under carriage sauce. And mozzarella was great.

The one I went to was truly something to be told. Very strange but really good pizza that has great sauce and bread proportions.

3rd trip to New Haven and still don't understand the hype around their pies. Definitely an above average pie but far from best pizza city in America

Spectacular Pizza, worth the flight from South Carolina

Very interesting pizza! Never had anything like it! Tomato heavy is what makes the score in the high 8's, but also why it's not in the 9's for me. Flavor is super good and different that it stands out, but ultimately not really my jam. It's definitely worth checking out again and again!

Doesn’t matter what I say. Go try the pizza. It’s crunchy yet chewy and taste so so so good. Only pizza I’ve ever had that is better was one I made myself from scratch. Possible bias. 8.9 bang

Lives up to every bit of the hype

Best slice of pizza I have ever had. This and Pepe’s are very similar in taste.

Not sure how this got a good rating the pizza box with sauce on it would have tasted better no flavor what so ever….

Excellent pie, came all the way from the PNW to try Sally’s and I was not disappointed.

Crust is crispy and cooked to perfection. Minimal flop, cheese stays in place. Well worthy of El Prez’ 9.2

Well worth the wait if you like that perfect undercarriage with a little char. I love the char on the crust so I’m saying it’s a 9.3 pizza my wife not so much as she gives it a 8.1 so with an average of 8.7 all in all it’s a great pizza. Friendly staff and the wait is quick. #PizzaMoon

Based on everyone else’s reviews we must have caught them on a bad day. Other than the char on the crust it wasn’t crispy at all, the undercarriage was pale and floppy. Obviously it was tasty enough for us to eat most of it, but it was underwhelming given their reputation. Lots of char in the box too
