Fantastic pizza

Picture from years ago. Used to be my favorite. Still really good but not as good as it used to be. Much smaller pies and higher prices now. My score 10 years ago would have been 9.6.

Chared, crispy, thin, great sauce

Not worth going out of the way to get. Would be better if the price was right. Would get again if I was plastered and it was the only place open. Overall kind of disappointed.

Pizza was really good, the cheese half had no flop and great crisp. The pepperoni/sausage half was more floppy. Sauce was good, was a sweeter tomato sauce, wish their sauces flavor was more prominent. Would recommend to try if in the area but not to travel for it.

It earns the 9!

I had this pizza driven from CT down to South Jersey and after a 4 hour car ride it was still the best pizza ive had in my life. Coming from a Jersey guy its bitter sweet to give the pizza crown to New Haven but im an honest man. Can only imagine to eat this fresh

Family of four average (two children deducted a few points because they didn’t like the crust). Delicious coal fired. Great old school vibe. Great crust! Darn good pizza! The wait in line was worth it.

Top Pizza in America . Best in New Haven the pizza capital of the world . Best sauce I have ever had great pepperoni nice and fresh and amazing charred crust . Heavy on the sauce light on the cheese absolutely amazing

It’s solid, but not blowing me away. A little heavy on the sauce, and I was hoping for more cheese to balance it out. Crust was decent, classic New Haven style, but overall it felt slightly off-balance. Good, not great. Worth trying if you’re in the area, but not quite living up to the hype for me.
