Sally's Apizza

Family of four average (two children deducted a few points because they didn’t like the crust). Delicious coal fired. Great old school vibe. Great crust! Darn good pizza! The wait in line was worth it.

It’s solid, but not blowing me away. A little heavy on the sauce, and I was hoping for more cheese to balance it out. Crust was decent, classic New Haven style, but overall it felt slightly off-balance. Good, not great. Worth trying if you’re in the area, but not quite living up to the hype for me.

Not worth the 2 hour wait

Sally… great pizza tasted very good but sadly Sally’s disappointed. Floppy, chewy, lacked flavor. Could have been the bake today… Being harsh to them only because of my high expectations. Modern still has my number 1. This score could be subject to change in the future but for now it is a solid 7.8…

Spectacular sauce. Great pie

Something has changed here. It’s not as good as it used to be. Crust is off. Sauce is off. Pepe’s is better. Much better.
