I’ve been dying to come here since Dave did his review. It really is amazing. A little thicker than he described, but I still loved it.

Great Pizza, with a beautiful thin crust that is just perfect, not too thin, but not all dough to soak up all the sauce, had a nice crisp, not burned but with just right the tomato sauce was fresh and the cheese was absolutely amazing. Hands down one of the best Brick Oven pizzaS

Dave, you are str8 cappin....if this is the best pizza in CT, then CT is definitely not the pizza capital of the US... cheese was bland, sauce and dough were solid

Tomato sauce was define!!! Great crunch but the crust doesn’t have much flavor to it. The mozzarella cheese isn’t noticed at all. Overall great slice

I drove 10 hours to try this Based on Dave's review. I ended up with someone else's horrible pizza. I give it that score because the pizza has good flavor. The manager of Sally's did comp me for the mistake and offered to make me a free pizza. My issue with that is how can you vastly improve garbage that gives you heartburn? I saw the review where Dave was stoned and ate a frozen pizza without cutting it. The only way one can give this hot mess a high score is if you are blizzed out of your mind.

This is it for me! My number 1 all time favorite pizza. The pizza that made Frank Pepe blush. It is just perfection as close as it gets. Worth the $ and the long lines. The best of the best!

So good. Sauce is super tomatoey. Have had better from here which is why it calls to an 8.8.

Didn’t get a picture of the pie, but this is Dave’s favorite, so I had to go on the way home from NY. I got the regular cheese and tomato pie. It was easily some of the best pizza I ever ate, highly recommend. I do second Dave’s opinion that New Haven is the pizza capital of the world. Anyways, regular cheese was an 8.7, tomato pie was a 9.1. Averaging out the scores for an 8.9.
