I’m gonna make a declaration here that might be controversial. I think this may be the best pizza I’ve ever had. Now coming right off Frank Pepe’s I realize this is a bold statement to make. However, I loved this one just a little more. I don’t know if it’s the fact that I got the cheese vs the tomato pie but this was the superior pizza. All of the ingredients are top notch. Ratios are perfect. I really don’t know what else to say. I burned my mouth because I could barley wait to take another bite. An absolute MUST TRY.

I believe my first ever “New Haven style” slice, or what these Connecticut locals call APIZZ. I’m not a fan of an overly saucy slice, which this certainly is. Best parts of the slice is where the cheese is more populous, near the tip and midsection. It’s 100% sauce up by the crust. Speaking of, I loved the burnt and charred crustage - big fan. I know Sally’s is very highly regarded as one of the best spots in the nation. It didn’t change my life but it’s still very good. Throw on some sausage, onions, and hot peps and now we’re really cooking. The white clam pie was fine but that potato pie was excellent.

Went in today after an hour long wait outside, followed by another hour wait to get the pizzas brought to the table. Their classic pizza had a great crust, char, and crunch with no flop. Their sauce was sweet and cheese not too strong. Their white pizza with potato was a mixed bag. The white slice itself was delicious, but the potato slices were undercooked. Overall a great place but not worth waiting more than 30 minutes.

Amazing crust and undercarriage. Inverse flop on some slices which ive never seen before. Our boy Dave overrated this one but still top 3 pie in the country imo
