The best pizza in New Haven - great crispy char flavor. Light and not bad on the stomach. Don’t like to steal all of Portnoys adjectives in describing but he nails this one. Very very good - just not incredible. Top 20 spot but not a top 10.

Half tomato, half cheese. Superb cook, really tasty char. Alternating between the two types of pie kept it interesting! Visiting from UK

Wow! Very disappointing. No crisp more sponge like thin pizza. I cannot believe that Dave rated this a 9.2. This honestly is not above a 3. The place down the road Frank Pepe is MUCH, MUCH better. No chance New Haven is a pizza capital.

Amazing slice well worth the wait, amazing taste and crisp, coal fire is definitely the best!!

First time getting real New Haven pizza and it lived up to the hype. My only critique, and Dave may slap me for saying this, is it was almost too burnt. Some of the crust bites were overpowered by char taste. Otherwise amazing flavor.

Well. It's dynamite. The bomb. Drive from Ohio to Stamford ct. it's all that and then some. It's was great. Under carriage sauce. And mozzarella was great.

Solid pizza, great sauce, no complaints

The one I went to was truly something to be told. Very strange but really good pizza that has great sauce and bread proportions.

3rd trip to New Haven and still don't understand the hype around their pies. Definitely an above average pie but far from best pizza city in America

Spectacular Pizza, worth the flight from South Carolina

Very interesting pizza! Never had anything like it! Tomato heavy is what makes the score in the high 8's, but also why it's not in the 9's for me. Flavor is super good and different that it stands out, but ultimately not really my jam. It's definitely worth checking out again and again!

Doesn’t matter what I say. Go try the pizza. It’s crunchy yet chewy and taste so so so good. Only pizza I’ve ever had that is better was one I made myself from scratch. Possible bias. 8.9 bang

Lives up to every bit of the hype

Best slice of pizza I have ever had. This and Pepe’s are very similar in taste.
