Great tasting pizza and cool guy working the counter. Meatballs were not too bad either.

Sal’s Pizza Factory — Charlotte, NC A little background: I’m from Brooklyn, NY and a self-proclaimed pizza aficionado. I’ve watched countless Dave reviews and I take my pizza seriously. This pie looked much better than the one Dave got. The sauce was beautifully robust, the cheese amount was spot-on, and the undercarriage was great. My score: 8.1. My lady: 9.0.

Glad I asked for it to be well done, because it’s a bit sloppy and messy. Great crunch and the flavor is quite nice. Good crust.

Too messy and floppy but has a decent undercarriage

Slices came out piping hot. A little greasy but very good. Tasty crust. Pepperoni was really good. Probably one of the best pizzas I've had in Charlotte!

Delicious crust! Pie was filled with cheese plenty of chicken cutlet on that half of the pie. I took several bites for a score of 7.1

Everything good with this pizza. All balanced well. Cheese, sauce and crust. Never go anywhere else.

Good pizza, not the best in Charlotte, but damn good. Went a little heavy on the cheese but it was still great. Definitely worth a visit

Absolutely fantastic, ordered mine Well-Done but unsure how it would turn out if ordered normally. Excellent flavor, great crisp. Best pizza I’ve had so far in Charlotte!

This place is darn good for NC. Only real pizzeria I know of in the Charlotte area

Sal's is the only place I bothered to review in NC. I had a few slices in NC, but this is the only place I was repeat customer as a New Yorker. They were also always on time.

The crunch is phenomenal the flavor is great I feel like this pizza will be just as good reheated

This pizza was legit hood. I had a slice of pepperoni and a pepperoni and sausage. Thin crust everything was great.

Sicilian style Pizza is not my favorite pizza (for the disclaimer) But the flavors where surprising . Was a little dry in chew some parts. Was filling and I love a filling Pizza . Worth a try .

Tang in the sauce is pleasant. Perfect doneness. I like a whole lot about this for a Charlotte pie.

Charlotte has a lot of trash pizza places. A lot of 5.5 spots. This is one of the only 7’s. Tons of variety but cheese and Mamas are top. If you like pie like Dave, this is as close are Charlotte comes.
