1 cheese slice, 12:35pm on a Thursday Pros: Sturdy slice, decent sauce line at crust for a good last bite, lot of crunch in the crust Cons: Not a lot of flavor, grease seeped into dough, cheese doesn't look or taste amazing upon their reheat Verdict: Passable slice but nothing distinguishing about it. Slightly better than it looks but doesn't look great.

Sal’s Pizza could easily be the best pizza in the area with a few tweaks. There are a couple things holding them back from greatness. The first thing being their oven. It needs to be hotter. I asked for my pizza to be well done. For a thin crust style it wasn’t even close. A hotter oven means the pie would be done quicker and the thin crust would be crispy while the toppings wouldn’t be over cooked. I can sense the greatness within but was stuck with mediocrity. One of the better slices I’ve had. Good crisp, could be a bit crispier in the middle. Sauce has some tang to it. Minimum grease which is a plus for me. Good slice. Excellent selection too.
