Great flavor and excellent cheese and crust. Loses points due to excess moisture and too much flop!

Some of the the best cheese I’ve had on a pizza. The flavor is off the charts. Good sauce. Crust was really solid, and if it was a little less floppier this would be in the 9’s for me no doubt.

Everything about this place I love! As soon as you walk in you feel the vibes, order a beer and you get a tansy glass with it. Unbelievable. The pizza was salty and cooked perfectly. Better than any other pizza I’ve had in Boston.

Although the sauce is excellent the crust falls short . The dough needs salt . I never put salt on pizza but had too for this pie. Very bland ! Service was excellent . I not for crust would have been a 9.

Probably one of the worst pizza places you can hit up in Boston. I rather a crappy $1 slice place than this. Sloppy mess. Soggy. Cheese pizza here is maybe a point or 2 better. Idk if this place went down the hole after Dave reviewed it or what.

What a pie. This pizza has TASTE. Loves the sauce and crust. The cheese was very good. Little nice flop to it. Tough to beat out Regina’s or picco but this pizza competes with the best.

(Unfortunately, I couldn’t snap a good pic.) Santarpio’s is an iconic Boston spot that you gotta try if your a true New Englander. The rivalry of Regina’s vs Santarpio’s has been going on since the 1930’s. And man, I think Sant’s beats out Reg’s. The atmosphere with all the boxing and Boston sports stuff on the walls. The classic rude waiters and dive bar look. The menu is clear cut, pizza and skewers. No salad, no pasta, no bs. The big loaf of bread they give alongside mouthwatering steak tips or lamb cuts makes a great appetizer. Then a hand picked selection of special pizzas that all taste great. I went with the meat lovers and wow what a great pie! The neat thing they do here is that they put the toppings on bottom and I seriously think it makes taste better. It has some major Boston flop but if you let it sit then you’ll be good. Also the crust is amazing, you can tell it’s made from a brick oven. Good crunch, not a lot of grease or dough either. This pizza is the culmination of being the best in the business for years. Truly a top pizza joint in mass.

Oh the burn! Best cheese in the country. Texture was perfection. Top 5 pizzas I’ve ever had

Way too much hype for this slice; was expecting perfection. Flop city, greasy, cheese slid right off. Good sauce though and down to earth vibe inside. No parking anywhere fyi…

Hm…ok so I had really high expectations. I’ve heard a lot about this place and the reviews are pretty high. First off, there isn’t a lot of cheese. There is waaaaay more sauce and the sauce is more like a marinara instead of something you’d find on a pizza. Crust is strange, it’s somewhat floppy and thin in the center of the pie then the crust is super crunchy and hard. Not a well balanced pie but still pretty decent.
