Best pizza

It’s funny each trait of the pizza has redeeming and degrading qualities. The cheese had decent flavor but was swimming in grease. Tomato sauce tasted a hair above mediocre but the perfect amount was applied. The dough had great crisp but had a weird taste that fell between a crouton and stale bread. Ultimately the score was mostly carried by the flavor of the cheese and texture of the dough. Other reviews are way over inflated, I see hotels nearby so maybe tourists who don’t know what they’re talking about. FYI I didn’t factor into score but the service was mediocre and it took about an hour to get this pie…this would be a good spot if you’re surrounded by dominoes and chain joints but I would never go back here - too many better spots close by. Also, I was starving when I got my pizza so this score could even be inflated.

I really like this pizza. The cheese blend is one of my favorites. It’s a nice thin pizza with a strong crust. I also like how they do it well done. It’s an Italian pizza, which is hard to find on the north shore.

the sauce and cheese combos is really good, very similar to johns on bleecker. My crust wasn’t very fresh on this trip.

“One bite” cannot be used to accurately to judge this pizza. Why? Because it’s drastically different each time depending on how it’s cooked. I’ve had many pies that I didn’t care for because they were overcooked - burnt, blackened, bubbly crust that kind of tasted like eating raw tomatoes on charcoal. But they must’ve known I was giving a review, because the last pie was spectacular. Tons of flavours, perfectly cooked (not burnt) awesome cheese and sauce, thin, chewy, delicious Italian style pizza. It was exceptional and surprising, so much flavour! The standard cheese pizza was great, but try the garlic, onion, pepper combo and it was shockingly good! I asked the server why the pizza we got wasn’t burnt, and she told me it all depends on who’s doing the cooking. She also said you can ask for it “not burnt “ and that can help. A year ago I would’ve scored this in the mid 5’s, but lucky for them I didn’t do a review until this latest experience, and based on that it’s a good one. Just make sure you don’t get a burnt one and you will like it!
