Pizza Review
Santillo himself took my order & recommended what to get, awesome dude. What I have here is a half half split, half of what Portnoy ordered & the other half is what Santillo recommended - the 1964 style with parmesan (pepperoni on half of each). Both pizzas are delicious. They share a unique texture, with a chewy dough & amazing crisp crust. Whatever style Portnoy got, I give it an 8.1 which is well above average. The '64 pizza is so good. The parmesan makes it salty but I enjoy that. Awesome texture & flavor - you can taste the quality ingredients. It's probably as good as a pizza can get without hitting the 9s. I'll be coming back, favorite pizza in Jersey so far.
