Sasso's Coal Fired Pizza

Great place, great people, great tasting pie, good crust, bad night for flop jalop.

Very unique pizza that is hard to compare to others. Thin crust and excellent flavor in the sauce and cheese. Almost a spicy flavor but never gets there. Enjoyed it very much!

Eye test - a tad deceptive Ratio - no issue Dough - ok Cheese - subtle, it was decent Sauce - very good but an oregano bomb Ravel said, “Never over spice the music. Subtlety often produces the brightest colors” Maybe a tad overrated.

high quality cheese. distinct taste- hard to describe. very friendly servers. could use a bit more sauce tho

Fantastic pizza. One of the best I’ve had outside of the New Haven area. Thin, perfect char, great sauce that was slightly sweet and full of seasoned flavor, and cooked just right. This one caught me off guard how much I enjoyed it. Already planning a drive to get another pie soon. Torrington is also a cool town with old style buildings and a nice Main Street area to explore. Highly recommend

Super good. Super light pie with a super flavorful sauce and high quality cheese. Not much flop either. Bonus Rigatoni Alla Vodka 8/10

Very good tasty pizza, nice coal crunch too

Amazing cold fire pizza good service not a bad price would recommend

Very well done cheese pizza, crust was excellent, little greasy but will be back, highly recommend

Delicious 🤤

Killer New Haven style

Prob would have been better crisp if they didn’t tell me it would take 25 min, then text me it was ready within 10 min while the pie sat and waited for me. Sauce is delicious. Cheese is a little greasy. Just a smidge too much char.

It was ok but burnt

This place is in my old stomping grounds when I was a teen. Nice crisp and char. The sauce is what stands out on the pizza. Little to tangy for me though.

Phenomenal right up there with the best in new haven

absolute fire pie. perfectly crisped and not greasy, fave pie around!! super reminiscent of pepe’s
