Savona's Plaza Pizza

Good not amazing, margarita is fine. I am eating savona in PA not NY

My boyfriend requested me to try this pizza place in Kingston, and it's average. There's some flop, very cheesy, sauce not really there. It’s a little doughy and very little of crisp. It's alright, I think Picnic Pizza is a lot better. Michael's rating: 6.3 Square Slice: 7.6

Sauce is good and decent undercarriage with little flop, but a bit to cheesy, and doughy to get into the high 6’s or low 7’s.

Sauce and cheese were really good and just where they should be. The dough was soft but not crunchy. It was very greasy and it does not compare to other pizza places.

Guess what time it is? It’s pizza review time! Had a little business in Kingston NY, and I was starving afterward, so... I found a little locally owned shop not far from my meeting. Not bad at all, it’s a been so long since I’ve had anything other than my local favorites, Taverna Novo to mention one. 1st review since quarantining started. Pretty good crisp, good home made sauce, good flavors. A little bit greasy, just a little bit. Slight char, decent crunch on the crust. Pretty good little pizza shop, 6.9, that’s a review

Ordered by the slice. A lot of flop. No structure at all and that’s after an oven reheat. A lot of grease - literally dripping grease. But, good char and good chew. Too much cheese, not enough sauce. No tang. It’s better than most Midwest pizza, but that’s not saying a lot.

Best part of the pizza was the crust. Had a good crisp to it, but not too crispy that it shatters. A little greasy and highly cheesy, which is not my personal preference. Would like to see better balance with the sauce. Sauce did not have that sweet taste to crack the illustrious 7s or 8s. Solid pizza. Not disappointed by any stretch.

It’s good. Not great.
