Sergeant Pepperoni's Pizzeria - Bearden

First things first, there is major floppage. Regarding the crust, it’s kinda like a focaccia style which gives it a nice texture soft at the beginning and crunchy at the end. Pepperoni is my go to when rating, it was greasy, but it was good. Reason I give it a 7.5 is that I think it’s a good joint, friendly staff, and pizza is great, the risk with the focaccia crust is a welcome change from just a basic crust pizza. I just like my pizza a little more done, so maybe ask for well done pizza if you are the same. My order was 14” Pepperoni Pizza.

Solid football pizza. Good price for individual lunch.

Crust and undercarriage was a little doughy for me. Nice pepperoni flavor. Sauce was common, not bad. Solid pie overall 👍

Bland and seem like frozen crust.

Struggled with this review a little bit. There’s not much to knock it for technically, but I just don’t feel like it’s quite elite enough to be any higher. It was pretty greasy and the sauce is nothing special. It’s got great cheese, and it’s most redeeming quality is this sort of mapley sweetness on the bottom of the crust that is very unique. Football pizza

Started out as a bad experience when ordering online at their other location, received a confirmation, drove to pick-up only to learn they were closed. Sent an email to the company and of course never heard back. Despite all this, I decided to give them a second chance so I reordered at the Kingston Pike location and was sadly disappointed. Salad was the bright spot as it was good, the pizza was average and the cheese bread was less than average. Hopefully things get better at Sergeant Pepperoni’s.
