On our search for really good pizza on/off the hill in Riverside, the Wife and I stopped here last night. Ordered a couple of their individual slices, however, they were in a warm display case, so they weren’t as fresh as a normal pizza you’d order. I’m talkin’ the cheese was a bit hard and the crust wasn’t as crispy. (Order Fresh if you want the best experience.)
We decided to go back inside and order a half cheese half pepperoni, fresh, as in the picture you see on this Review.
The Pizza was a bit oily for our liking, nothing a napkin couldn’t fix. However, it had a great undercarriage, the sauce tasted very well seasoned, and it had no doughy taste to it. The crust was a great crunch and complimented the entire pie in our opinion.
Compared to all the other Pizza places around here, this is definitely a place worth trying out. It is a bit pricey, as an XL Pizza comes out to $35. But take that as you will.
