Great Pie. Had the Pepperoni Pie I would actually rate that a 8 and the cheese pie 7.6. Combined giving a solid 7.8 . Overall great cheese and great tasting sauce. If you are somewhere midtown East great pizza shop to try

Tried a number of different slices and there’s a big range here from a 6.1- 8.1 with most being around a 7.5. Not much flavor to most slices and stale bread on the Sicilian slice. Disappointing for a former Top 100 in the country.

Great crisp, not enough cheese, solid sauce, great slice but I may have gotten one that had been sitting for a while.

There are certain slice joints that seem to dominate their surroundings in terms of quality. Upside in Midtown and Mamas Too! on the UWS come to mind. Sofia is another example, as they sling a cheese that is dressed to impress. The slice screams fresh, with a tangy sauce that stays with you, beckoning you to take another bite for some salty cheese to balance it out. The crust has a very closed crumb that forms a distinct crunchy bottom layer that resists the fold. Perhaps it’s even a little too crunchy - after all, what’s a NY slice without a fold? This is the slice for you as you cruise down first ave. The place is small, but has some stools facing the street through an open window. Perfect for a quick lunch away from the office. Stay and eat it fresh while you try to resist ordering another vodka slice (👌🏼) or a meatball pocket.

A damn good New York slice. Great, delicious balance of everything. Solid, good, straight forward, classic, standard slice.

Nice crisp cheese slice. Came out hot but not so hot where I was going to burn my mouth. Cheese had some nice tang to it, it was a little greasy but a solid slice. Sicilian slice I enjoyed but it reminded me a lot of a Chicago style slice, not what I was expecting but none the less a good pizza experience

Good joint, definitely a slice above the average neighborhood hole in the wall. Crust is not thin but has a nice crisp to it. Only drawback is that the crust doesn’t really have much flavor. Could be lack of seasoning or lack of char. Quality cheese and sauce. Grandma square slice is a good option as it has more flavor courtesy of garlic and salt.

Classic pizza is excellent. Thin, crunchy and great sauce. Perfect amount of oil. Very good slice. Had the spinach dip slice. Good novelty pizza. Interesting but not amazing.

Best plain slice I’ve had in midtown east. Clean tasting sauce. Not too much cheese. Perfect crust. Daughter and I agree on 8.5. High score. Correct score. Excellent.

Unbelievably good pizza. Best I’ve had in NYC. Totally solid plain. Grandma was pretty fantastic. Primo joint.

Always delicious, crispy, and light, no matter what the topping, even the spinach dip. Recommend the plain, vodka, mushroom, eggplant, sausage, you name it.

Good pizza. Great flop. Awesome balance of sauce and cheese. Crust left something to be desired though. Also a small selection in the store if looking for different slices.

Margarita is perfect. And true NY pepperonis, getting harder to find these days
