Solar Slice Pizza

Best pizza in Atlanta, The Portnoy, hard to find anything to complain about, delicious sauce perfect crisp and char, Awesome!!

Light and very crisp, chewy. Has a great tangy flavor in the oil.

Okay- usually I leave a quick review but this one is interesting. I had high hopes for the slice solely based on how it looked. For Atlanta and NY style this has to be one of the best, it just can’t get into the 8s for me - great sauce could use a little more cheese good slice overall

Got the Cup N‘ Char Hot Honey. The flavor from honey was absolutely phenomenal and the cheese ratio for me was perfect. The crust and overall cook were very solid as well. Second time coming here and will 100% be back for more

Heard better things from this place, might have come on an off day.

Hands down best sauce

I ordered the Portnoy! Overall, I did enjoy it. Positive: Crust was nice and crispy. Pizza was thin, with ZERO flop. Order was said it would be ready at 12:10. I walked in right at 12:10, and it was ready. Ingredients tasted fresh, and pizza was not overly greasy at all. Didn’t feel sluggish after eating! Room for Improvement: Pizza was a bit dry. Just didn’t have the same depth as some of the higher end pizza I have had when it comes to flavor. Felt a little one dimensional. It was crispy, but not very cheesy. Sauce had good flavor, just not much of it. There were certain bites that literally tasted and felt like a cracker. I understand it’s the Portnoy, but having had alot of Dave’s favorites, this doesn’t necessarily meet that style. Overall again, it was very solid. But based on this pie, it wouldn’t be my first choice in the area. But I would like to try some of the regular options next time!

Lived up to the hype!

Expected more based on the hype. Ordered a regular cheese 14” which was too heavily salted and felt dry (influenced by the crust and cheese). 7.1 for the pizza. Very load and chaotic inside. Not a place to sit down and eat imo.

Sauce is good (little sweet). Regular cheese pizza. Lots of flop. no bubble trouble. not very crispy. good pizza.

Great pizza, some of the best I have had in GA. Pinball machines are a huge plus as well. Got ours well done.

Good pizza. Cool vibe. Got the Portnoy, A tad bit dryer than expected. I’ll try the regular cheese next time

Saucy boy was KILLER, Hardly any flop, sweet undercarriage, and the sauce flavor was on point, wish it had just a touch more cheese but was killer, a pizza straight out of my brain.

It was okay. Wonder if the rush since Portnoy gave a review lowered the end product. Go to Yandys, think it's a Tier above despite Portnoy review.

I ordered the Portnoy pizza and it was less cooked than I like despite its whole idea being a well done pizza. Sauce piled up near the crust. Their pizza was better before Dave scored, now they’re pumping out pizzas prioritizing quantity over quality.

Sauce was sweeter than I like. Overall the crisp was nice. The structure was perfect. No flop. Although there wasn’t much consistency between the pies in our order. Some looked like they were turned in the oven, while others looked crispy on one end and doughy on the other. We ordered about ten pizzas (mostly portnoy, cheese, hot honey/pep, and plain cheese with added pepperoni). They messed up our order leaving items out or totally replacing them with a different pizza. However it was pretty decent for the Atlanta area.

Takeout order was ready right on time! Fantastic pizza! Definitely will be back

ordered a regular cheese pizza. i think they may have accidentally given me the portnoy though. not usually a fan of more cooked pizza but to my surprise it tasted phenomenal. 0 flop, sauce tasted amazing, a nice crunch but not excessive. very thin too and that’s exactly what i like. overall a solid 8.0

Great pie!

The owner is *ouche which gets a reduction. Overall it was OK. Good flavor. I waited in the drive through and it was warm at best. Sauce is sweet and it was overcooked so the cheese was a little burnt and still had a big flop. A born and raised Italian from the Bronx, it's definitely not a little bit NY style Portnoy for sure gave him a shot in the arm with the 7.9. It's OK but not wait for over an hour good.

Bold flavored sauce. Nice crisp.

I like the pizza flavor I just wish it was just a tad less crunch . It was packed thats a good thing tho.

Drove 1.75 hours to try the Portnoy. Did not disappoint
