Stracci Pizza

Real good crunch to this Roman-ish style, ingredients were great, could always use a little more tomato. Light and airy

Bonus points because of how light it was. Minus points because I think the sauce was missing some profile. Ate the whole thing.

Pretty delicious and certainly not like anything else I’ve had. Great staff, great vibe, great apps, and perhaps a tiramisu even better than the pizza. Tomatoes were distinct and delish, cheese could’ve been a touch more abundant for my liking, and the crust was at time overly crisp and wafer-like, but the bulk of it was all still delicious. Great quality and unlike anything else nearby.

Fantastic Roman style pizza. The crust and the sauce were phenomenal. The in house cheese wasn’t my favorite, but that’s just personal preference. Also, the focaccia appetizer with dipping oil is some of the best bread I’ve ever had

Dough was the star, crispy and light with real flavor. Freshness of the ingredients is clear. DCs best pizza always seems to be non-NY variations like this Roman adjacent pizza, Sonny’s squares, and 2amys neopolitan

Amazing. Such fresh ingredients, tomato sauce was tangy, house made mozzarella was perfect. Nice crispy crust and undercarriage!

I’ve tried De Lucia’s, Angelo’s, Ignazios, all of which are high 8s, and 9s based on Dave’s reviews. I can say none of those come close to Stracci, Stracci is a 10. This place must be importing the finest ingredients from the world and be annointed with the finest olive oil from a catholic Italian grandmother. I would choose Stracci over any pizza in New Jersey, Philly and New York. It is truly the best pizza and has broken the scale.

Give it a 7.7 only because I like thin Connecticut style pizza but if you’re a big bread guy It can definitely be higher

The dough they use is fermented for 3 days and it really shows cuz the pizza has a perfect crunchy undercarriage with more flavor than sourdough. Sauce is above average but could be a little more robust. Cheese is moz overnight soaked in cream, gives a great flavor and melts in your mouth. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had hands down

This is not a good pizza, this is an excellent, excellent pizza place- it finally gave me a place in Virginia that I can say stands toe to toe with anywhere else I’ve had. Crust is near perfection, texture is like a great baguette it the crispy crust and a fluffy inside. The cheese is homemade and delicious and everything is sourced with extremely high quality.

Top 2 spot for me in NOVA. Cheese made in house, top notch ingredients. Great crust.

THIS PIZZA FUCKS! Honestly, this pizza redefines what you thought was pizza! The undercarriage is solid. The pizza is ‘Roman’ style and yet the pizza eats surprisingly light. The ingredients are SO fresh and you can taste that for sure. F$cking game changer, they make their own cheese! What?! This spot will always be my ace card that I will pull out when we have people over and someone suggests we should get pizza. Do yourself a favor and try this spot before they get so big you have to reserve a pizza 2 months out!
