Taverna Della Pizza

Grandma’s Style- enjoyed the sauce and crushed basil. Perfect amount of cheese underneath the sauce, cooked to perfection where the cheese melted into your mouth with each bite. Normally enjoying the corner slice the most with these types of pies, it was the middle outer piece that fancied me the most that seem to have a better crisp in addition to the beautiful flavor of the corner piece. Definitely recommend

Pretty standard issue Jersey slice, but always hits the spot.

There are so many things I wanna say but I won’t. The score says it all!

I’ve had pizza all across the country, have lived in both Staten Island and Brooklyn and have tried all the legendary spots...and to this day there is still nothing like Taverna. It’s a recipe that has stood the test of time and there’s just something about the combination of the sauce, cheese, and crust that makes it the best pizza ever. Been coming here my whole life and I still make the occasional trip back to Jersey from New York just to get it.

Tavernas pizza is the best around Spotswood . Also saw in an article Tavernas was ranked in the top 20 pizzerias in New Jersey. The pizza isn't greasy and the crust is really good. The thing that really sets this apart from the others is the sauce. So much flavor!
