The Artisan Pig

Neapolitan meets New Haven maybe? Wood fired oven creates the lightness of Neapolitan, but the crust is thin and has a nice crisp (get it on the well done side) sauce has a great fresh flavor and some tang to it. High quality pepperoni too. Loses some crisp in house as it’s served on a glass plate, but that aside one of my all time favorite pizzas.

This pie was good it would have been sooo much better if it was crispy it a sweet tang on the sauce which I liked tho and it was very light.

Best sausage pizza I’ve ever had

Pizza is very crispy, thin and tasty, sauce and cheese is sweet and tangy. A perfect mix. Probabl my favorite slice in the area.

I ordered the “Pig Pile” pizza and it couldn’t have been better — perfectly cooked crust, right balance of cheese and sauce, and the most delicious sausage/pepperoni I’ve ever had on a pizza. Potentially the best pizza I’ve ever had.

Chicken and Eggplant Pizza! Tasty crust. Good flavor. Thin crust.

First visit to the Artisan Pig. Went with the Pig Pile. Great tasting pie. Quality of the ingredients was evident. Good amount of toppings. A little greasy and a little flop to be expected, but the taste was there. Pizza has a pretty thin crust and the edges do have some crunch. Not quite a Neopolitan, but not a NY style either. Some what of a hybrid. Good amount of sauce and cheese. I do always add a little red pepper flake and parmesean. Worth the trip. Did wash it down with a delicious cider they had on draft. Street Parking available, but limited, so grab the 1st available. Call ahead or check their social media in advance they were closing early for a private event.

PHENOMENAL PIZZA. Authentic wood fired pizza with fantastic and flavorful toppings. Simply the best pizza and my kids have ever had.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. Tried the “Pig Pile”. Top tier ingredients. You wont be disappointed.

Perfection

crust coulda been a little crispier but overall I fuck with this pizza. solid slice, could’ve been bigger tho $15 for maybe a 13-14 inch pie

Overall a good pizza but it was much more doughy than I expected. Lots of flop too. A bit of a sweeter pizza, so take that how you will.

This is as close to as perfect, for me, as a pizza gets. Not too floppy, no overloaded with sauce, not overloaded with cheese, crispy to chard crust which I think is awesome. Nothing is premade. Everything is fresh made every day from pizza to ice cream. Hands down my favorite pie.

Ok this is a three banger review. The wood fire crust is excellent ...1st the cheese pizza its fresh and good BUT there's a herb there using on it that just wasn't for me it wasn't bad and you might love it just didn't work for me 7.6 2nd the margarita this pizza strangely did not have the above herb on it and was excellent with a crisp crust! 8.0 "rookie score" 3rd the grilled chicken sandwich was the star of the show UNBELIEVABLY good amazing with a chimi mayo that was to die for fresh mozzarella grilled onions tomatoes and a charred delicious chicken breast on a torta roll best grilled chicken sandwich I've ever had..9.5!

The absolute spongiest crust ever for a woodfired pizza there was literally zero crisp. Way too much cheese and sauce. Even the blackened crust isnt crispy. If youre a true woodfired/coalfired pizza fan youll be bummed out.
