The Greenhouse is one of the more underrated eateries on LBI, with an extensive menu and several excellent options. However, they are fairly new to the pizza game and unfortunately, not very good at it. Pictured up top is their regular cheese pizza & below is their version of a Margherita pie. I hate to say it, but both are embarrassingly terrible. This is like chain pizza meets a frozen pie…the type of pizza you give to little kids who don’t know the difference between DiFara and Domino’s. The Margherita sauce & cheese is actually somewhat decent, but the dough is a massively thick, super soft abomination with relatively no taste. It’s a very disappointing 5.5 overall. The regular cheese pie is abysmal. It’s in the bottom 3 of worst pizza I’ve ever had. The cheese, sauce & dough combination adds up to a 3.5 rating, easily the worst on LBI. But don’t let this review deter you from eating here; the other items on this menu are fantastic and worth a try but this is not a spot for pizza connoisseurs.
