Artisan Thin Crust Cheese Pizza and a small order of Garlic Parmesan Bites, 1:30pm on a Sunday, $12.74
Pros: Thin and crispy crust reminiscent of a Connecticut bar pie. Delicious sauce and just the right amount. Really nicely cooked individual sized pie at a fair price. Excellent bake giving some good color to the bottom. I've seen some Google reviews that say they might overcook a little but this was absolutely what I look for in a crispy crust with visible browning to the undercarriage. Don't change a thing.
Cons: Just a little bit of flop early on, but the sturdy, crunchy crust covered for any softness in the first bite.
Verdict: I recently learned of Pieology and discovered it's a pizza chain focused on creating your own style of pizza based on various toppings and crusts. This is the second location in CT, the first was in Stamford, where I've had great pizza before. I went in not expecting to be blown away based on it being franchise pizza but I was impressed and delighted by the quality and taste of what they serve. First time visit and I will definitely be back based on taste and value
