Tiny pizza but extremely good

Good flavor overall. Good undercarriage. Pepperoni cups were good. But sausage cups? (Gotta crumble the sausage!) It was odd because it had a good initial crisp, but then it was kind of chewy. I love that the cheese goes to the edge. But the ricotta that looked like it was squeezed out of a tube was not a good look. Gotta be glops of ricotta!Made it look like white caterpillars which barely had any flavor. 7.8 was very fair by Portnoy. Service was also minimal. Inattentive bartenders. Took them a while to even recognize I was there. Never asked me once how the food was. Didn't ask if I wanted another drink or refill my water. Making those improvements could bring it up around 8.1

Definitely one of the very best “Bar Pie” style pizzas around. The sauce-forward approach really sets it apart. I prefer a bit of a “crust handle” on the pie, but this one’s a real winner overall in the category

I’d put this place up there with the best of them. Always zero flop and by far my favorite crust ever. If you like a tavern style pie this is a must visit. The grandma pie is excellent too!! One of my favorite places to eat!!

This pie is OFF THE CHARTS!!! Take my word for it. This is one of the top pies I’ve had in New Jersey and I’ve eaten a lot of pizza. A crispy crust partnered with an incredible tomato flavor which really packed a punch. You will thank me later
