The NY Slice

Very good pizza. Great flavor. A little greasy but not bad. Crust has a good flavor

A good slice of pizza. Good under carriage.

Good crisp. Real cheese. Decent flop. Great flavor. Sauce is from a can, but the rest makes up for it.

Too much flop. The tomato sauce you could tell came from a can, the crust was soft and had garlic butter all over it. I didn't know if I was eating a breadstick or if it was the rest of my slice. Alright slice wouldn't travel for it.

Excellent slice. Takes way too long to get a slice but is is very good when you get it.

Would of been higher if the pizza wasn’t reheated and if it was just out of oven from being prepared fresh. Was a really good slice. It was like Sabarro from the malls how they take a already cooked pizza and reheat it back in the oven. Was really good though. Wish it wasn’t 5 bucks a slice and I could of bought a whole pizza.

Gotta go with the single slice for crisp. Excellent slice.

Has a slight flop, some grease. The sauce is the best part of the slice. The cheese needs some work. No flavor and rubbery consistency. Overall a good local place.

This place started as a Food Truck in the Indianapolis area and has finally set up a physical location on the south side in Greenwood. It has a bad flop from under cooked crust, which tends to be the norm in the Midwest, so a bad start for the crisp crunch. The sauce is actually really good and saves the pizza. It's very flavorful and is great as even a dipping sauce for breadsticks/your leftover crust. Pizza is not too greasy for Midwestern pie standards go but still not NY quality. Definitely would change the name from 'NY Slice' to 'A Decent Slice To Get in Indiana'. 6.3, wouldn't drive over state lines for it but it's an okay local place to stop in and get a slice. *Disclaimer - I eat Jalapeno and Pepperoni pizza for all reviews. I know Dave just does Cheese but this is how I judge a pie consistently. Same toppings everywhere.
