Great pizza , cooked perfectly for me has a little bit of char flavor but not too much great tang in the sauce and good amount of cheese on top (good cheese pull as well)

The name 'Sauce' is appropriate. The sauce is best part especially on the Gemini Pie. Good crisp and taste on the crust.

Took the trip today from Jackson, (Brooklyn square raised) just to come try the sauce! I STRONGLY ADVISE TO MAKE UR SELF AVAILABLE ASAP TO GET A TASTE OF THE SAUCE!!! It was worth every second of the drive. It was an absolute honor to have the pizza that was served to us on top of some of the greatest pizza owners u will ever meet. I am so glad I came in today! This is a TOP TWO!!! pizzeria in NJ. I am stoked to see what the future holds for the SAUCE. Thank you guys for a hell of an experience.

The Jersey devil or upside down blows Brooklyn Square out of the water!!! Wow the dough is soft airy and then has a tremendous crunch. All of their pizzas are incredible but this one just has that something extra. My favorite pizza in all of Jersey

Great pizza. Very unique. Sauce was perfect. Cheese tasted fresh. Decent crunch for a non bar pie. The undercarriage was also way above average. One of the best non bar pies I’ve ever had. Definitely worth the drive.

As one would expect with the name of the restaurant, ‘the sauce’ was the best part. On the sweeter side but very flavorful. This place has many different styles of pizza - the one I ordered was the Gemini Pie. Thinner crust with noticeable crisp.

For shoot best pizza I’ve had in years!!!! Sauce is very new to the pizza scene but their owner/pizza maker is no stranger to making elite level pizza as I met him a few years back at Luigis and man is this guy one of the coolest humans you’ll ever meet and an absolute mastermind when it comes dough and crafting signature pizzas. What you see here is their Jersey Devil Sicilian, an upside down that’s covered with charred roni cups and hot honey. The crust is not from this planet and the only equal to Jackson’s Brooklyn square I’ve ever come across. Three day fermented dough yields an intense outer crisp and crunch with an airy pillowy interior that compresses with ease and is so light for as big a slice as it is, pocketed underneath and loaded with char it’s hard to even focus on any of the other ingredients but melty sliced mozz is blanketed to the crust melded seamlessly and covered by a rich sweet sauce before being covered by the roni cups and hot honey that don’t overpower as much as you’d expect and has one of the most flavorfully intense bites you’ll ever experience in a culinary landscape atleast. This may sound like a work but trust me you have to get here and find out for yourself while you still can as the popularity of this place grows by the day. This is travel worthy pizza from anywhere in the states and sure to be a future destination spot!!!

I don’t usually get too exited for pizza.. but The Sauce is DIFFERENT. It’s definitely not your average pizzeria. The owner of The Sauce, Jason put his heart and soul into that pizza and all of the Sauce Employees carry that passion with every pie they create. I went with the truffle chicken today, sooo good. Another favorite of mine is the “Gemini” with Jason’s signature dolce sweet sauce. The Sauce has been open less than a year and they are already making major noise in the pizza game. And that’s because the pizza speaks for itself!! 💯

My favorite pizzeria! Hands down the best I’ve been at. I’ve tried other locations but nothing is compared to this spot here La Sauce is fire! Great people and great atmosphere to enjoy some flavorful pizza. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
