Solid neighborhood pizza spot that does exactly what the name says. The crust has a nice balance where the bottom gets a light crisp but still folds clean without cracking. Sauce is slightly sweet with a good tomato flavor, not overly heavy, and the cheese coverage is generous without drowning the slice.
The slice holds structure well, good flop test, and the ratio of sauce to cheese is right where you want it. You can tell it’s a place that moves a lot of pies because everything tastes fresh out of the oven.
Not trying to reinvent pizza here, just a dependable classic slice spot near the beach
