Beach pizza, yes. Delicious, also yes. You need a pizza to feed a family of 8 … three brothers got you. No shrink-flation here. Crisp crust, gooey cheese, and just the right balance of sauce. Big in size, bigger in flavor. Best in OC … it’s 100% in the conversation.

Great Boardwalk pizza $7 a slice

Classic humungo beach slice. Why not wait the no line here instead of manco? You can pizza slap and concuss a mastodon with this.

I got the cheese slice and to be honest it was better than I expected. It is a much different style than New York pizza, it’s the definition of beach pizza but for that style it was solid. It had a great undercarriage for its size and was surprisingly crispy. However there was almost no sauce on it but the fact that it was crazy greasy didn’t make it dry. The flavor overall was lacking and the end crust was extremely dry and hard to chew. For what it is it was solid and 5 dollars for a slice that big is a solid deal. It’s the best pizza on the boardwalk so far.

Really good slices. Crust was crisp, the sauce was sweet, and the cheese actually tasted like mozz.

The best slice in OCNJ. I see the negative reviews and poor ratings but the dates are from 2022. I’m not sure if they completely redid their recipe or process but by far going here over Manco & Mancos. The plain pizza is a must try. You won’t be disappointed……plus $5 for a massive slice. Yes sir!

I was hungry. Mack’s wasn’t open. This was a disappointment. But I ate it. Obviously.

Crust is lousy and this was fresh out of the oven. Rabbi Joel Goldberg once exclaimed about some bad Matzoh, “This makes my mouth sad.” Ditto for this nonsense. Ratio is fine but the taste is below average, and incredibly, a big favorite of Giants fans. If you have taste buds, avoid this.

Very disappointing, cheese had no flavor and would slide right off. Didn’t even finish the slice, nothing to do with being a large slice.

Flavor is great. Loses on crisp because of size of the slice. If they made a normal size pizza, this could be best on the boardwalk.

The Supersized Slice. ...Taste analysis... Sauce: sweet. Cheese: creamy. Crust: supersized flop. A Supersized New York styled slice, which distinguishes it from the rest of the Boardwalk-style pizza in OCNJ. worth the extra money paid. Very light for such a large slice. Lots of flop with this slice, on an account of its size. The sauce tastes sweet, complimentary to the creamy mozzarella used. This pizzeria offers something different than many of the OCNJ pizzerias, give it a taste.

Big slice and no flop. On par with boardwalk slices. Basic sauce and cheese.

Another impressive big slice. Not quite as strong a flavor as Primavera’s or a Manco & Manco, but still had a nice crisp, thinness, and only the top had a small flop. Good stuff, recommended.
