Pizza was good! Definitely a pizza icon you should visit when passing through Caldwell, NJ.

Plain slice: super thin. Zero flop. Really great taste! I could eat 10 slices of this. 7.9 Really wonderful people too! Bonus buffalo chicken slice: good undercarriage. Amazing crunch. They cut it into strips. Tender chicken (not chewy at all) Really good! 7.9 too! I will definitely be coming back here.

I already left a solid review for the standard cheese pizza but the grandma pizza is truly their bread and butter. Honestly the best square pizza I’ve had.

Thin crispy crust. Cheese had great taste.

Out of a tiny little side street, old school pizza shop comes this excellent, well balanced “thin crust but airy” pie. Real nice crisp, great sauce to cheese combo. A little bit greasy but very flavorful. Overall a great pie in what seems to be an Outstanding Pizza Town, Caldwell, NJ. Definitely worth the drive.

I really like the slice. It’s crispy, thin, pretty good sauce, I just wish it had more sauce on it.

Taste: A little on the tangy side. Meatballs are standard. Thickness: Medium/thin Grease: Slightly drippy Size: Just the right size for two adults and a 3-year old and not feeling hungry afterward People: Super friendly Overall: Would go again if I were in the neighborhood.

Welcome to review number five. Tony D’s pizza was overall, pretty average. They got a pretty sweet menu, with 17 different speciality pizza options. I ordered a regular slice, and a whole drunken grandma pie. The drunken grandma was really good, and they used vodka sauce as the base, instead of tomato sauce. In this review I will be reviewing the regular slice, because it would not be fair to compare a specialty pie to the other regular pies I rated. This slice got a 7.2. Had a pretty good amount of flop. The cheese kept sliding off, which I find very annoying because you are two bites in and eating a piece of dough in a shape of a triangle. I tried a lot of good pizzas in the last month and this one did not compare.

Classic Football Pizza

A very good pie, not as thin of a crust as Angeloni’s (Caldwells other popular pizza place) but more of a traditional pizza style that is on the thin side. Slices had a bit of a flop, mostly from the cheese (I believe). Sauce was solid and the crust had very good flavor.
