Pizza Review
The first thing that jumped out at me about this pizza was how amazingly firm it was...ZERO flop, a harder dough with lots of crunch. Great crust, very crispy. That being said, the cheese & sauce leave a lot to be desired. Pretty standard cheese but very tight and congealed...lacking that creamy, oozing flow you’d expect from hot pizza cheese. The sauce is absolutely flavorless, no pizzazz whatsoever. It’s a shame because the firm dough provides an excellent base for the beginnings of a very good pie; but the sauce & cheese disappoint tremendously. I also deducted points after finding a few rogue pieces of pepperoni. Very sloppy and careless on Tony’s part. Dave must have been in a really good mood when he rated this joint because scoring this mediocre pie the same as L’industrie is CRIMINAL! Don’t buy in to the boosted ratings; some clown on here gave this place a 10. It’s extremely average pizza and shouldn’t even be a blip on the NYC map.
