Tony's Pizzeria and Restaurant

Now it’s been a while since I’ve done a Pizza review. Almost a month. Been very busy, but back on the horse. Now it’s a Wednesday, and we’re off tomorrow. So I’m heading out to fire Island. It’s a gorgeous day, and I figured I’d stop and get a review in. Which brought me to Brentwood, close to the Ferry. I have high hopes, as this place got really good reviews. And it looks good. So let’s hope it lives up to the hype. And it does not disappoint. Now, it’s a good crisp, good crunch, it could use a tad more sauce. I’ll be honest, if this had a little bit more salt sauce, it would be amazing. That being said, still very good. Good crunch, good crisp, no flop. Good Long Island pizza.

Maybe I’m biased since I’ve been eating here since a child but what is really great besides the pizza is the owner, Sebastian. Great guy! Back to the pizza. It’s perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Actually some of the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I had to spit it out. Went 20 min after they opened the pizzas so I had the first pie served. Slices were so grease it dripped threw the plate and bag. Looked like it sat out over night. How this place is a 7.8 idk

Pretty solid!! Thoroughly enjoyed my first NY slice

This probably comes down to preference as the slices were too cheesy. Not enough sauce and the sauce had a good bite when you caught it all together. Fell apart a little bit too but I can see why others like it more

I’m 45 years old and have been going here since I’m a boy. I don’t live in this town anymore but I come here just for the pizza.

Sicilian slice is the king here. I’ve had many Sicilian slices all over Long Island. Hands down the best Sicilian slice I’ve had. What’s the difference? The density of dough plus the sauce is outstanding. I eat the corner slices. Most other Sicilian is fluffy and light. If you like it that way than you won’t agree with me here.

Normal slice: a lot of flop, but also a lot of cheese. Cheese is tasty, sauce is good. Has a nice crunch to it. I’d give it a 7.4 Sicilian: Has a better taste than the normal slice. It seems they use different spices for the sauce and maybe the crust. I’ll give it a 7.8

Crust is good. A little greasy. Needs more sauce.

Sauce is excellent, no flop, good char, solid and consistent!

Good crisp, lots of flop due to high cheese content. Sauce has good tang but could use more sauce. Decent amount of grease. Overall a decent slice.

The Sicilian slice was much better than the regular slice I’d give the regular slice a 6.7 and the Sicilian a 7.5 giving it an average of 7.1. Nice crunch, was a little cold or the score might be higher. One of the better slices in the area that I’ve had.

Excellent New York slice, real cheese, canned mushrooms and solid pepperoni.

The crust has more dough than I normally prefer. It looks great. Tastes good.

When you're pushing $3 slices, there's a certain standard that comes with it. Decent slice but it's closer to the $2-$2.25 range.

Really good pie w/ quality ingredients. No NY flop with a good bite. No delivery but worth the trip to pick up. Hands down best pie in the area. (Sorry for the messy pic, fresh out the oven and drove it home)
