Snuck in a review since they’re only open for four hours a day, and I’m so glad I did. There was something about this pizza that just tasted very good to me. I think it was because it a perfect amount of sauce on this pie. The sauce by itself was not my favorite by any means. It tasted like a spaghetti sauce made with a lot of bell peppers. It didn’t taste bad, but it threw me off having that flavor you’re not used to seeing in a pizza sauce. Even though it was not my favorite, when combined with the cheese it really tasted delicious. The crust was light and wood fired. There were a few good charred spots which added some nice flare. I am two for two trying pizza places here in San Diego.
