Trigo Wood Fired Pizza

I’ve eaten at several of Dave’s 9+ pizza places in New York and New Haven. This belongs in the 9’s. The margarita pizza is one of the best you’ll ever eat. It’s that good. Excuse the photo, didn’t think I’d want to leave a review.

This is a classic thin crust wood fired cheese pizza. They use scamorza and grana padano cheeses similar to mozzarella and parmigiana. They cook the pie with good char and crisp crust but it has that wood fire flop. Great flavor and good atmosphere. Pizzas only come one size and is enough for one or two people. Definitely a place to check out.
