Umberto's of Long Island

Used to be a fan. As a long islander, I’ve been eating from Umberto’s since I’m a kid. Ordered the grandmama’s pie for $35….. burnt to a crisp. I called them and they said “unfortunately there’s nothing we can do”. Contrary to popular belief, there’s good pizza in South Florida. Not to mention SLUMbertos is dirty and old AF inside. Save your time and $.

Grandma is the way to go! Add Pepperoni. Great tang. Crispy crust. Solid all around.

Fell upon this place by accident and boy am I glad we did. Great pizza , perfectly cooked, sweet sauce, fresh cheese. Will be adding this to my best of list

Grandma 12 inch pizza. Very well cooked. Crisp. Great sauce slightly sweet but good tang. Fresh cheese. Nice chew on firm crust. Best around

Pretty good crisp, fresh tasting

We ordered two pies. This review is based on the better pie, the grandmas pie. This pie was FANTASTIC! Sauce had good flavor, cheese spread perfectly so you got some in every bite. Basil cooked just enough to give it a crisp texture with flavor. Only thing i would’ve changed is it was a little over cooked. The middle pieces were perfect, but the edges (my favorite) were burnt. We got the regular pie too, i would give that a 6.1. Also over cooked on the bottom and extra greasy.

Football pizza. Homemade sausage is a nice. Leaving this as best I’ve had in Lauderdale...I said it. Boom sauce!
