Stopped by the Wantagh Umberto's for a quick lunch. The regular slice was pretty good with some appreciated crisp, good undercarriage, fair amount of cheese, and standard sauce. There are no bad qualities to the slice or its ingredients, it's just solid and does everything a plain should typically do. Some more herbs on top and color on the cheese (if it were cooked slightly more) would make it better, but it's still good. As for their Grandma slice, that was also pretty good and slightly above average relative to other Grandma slices. That had the herbs and color I enjoy and, in addition, had a healthy amount of sauce to give you a good taste of it as most Grandma slices do. I very much appreciated the crunch on the edges of the Grandma slice, but it did not reach passed the edges into the center underneathat all unfortunately. Overall though, a little bit of a tastier experience than the regular. The plain gets a 7.7 and the Grandma gets a 7.8.
