This spot might be family owned and operated since 1996, but this pie is on par with some of the worst commercial chain pizza in the country. If Pizza Hut and Domino’s joined forces to make one terrible football style pizza, this would be it. In fact, the cheese tastes like an exact blend of Pizza Hut & Domino’s cheeses combined, absolutely dreadful. This cheese is rather thick, fairly greasy and tastes like someone dumped an entire salt shaker on top. The dough is also thick, super soft, zero crisp, not floppy but not particularly tasty either. The sauce is basically undetectable largely in part due to the overwhelmingly salty flavor permeating from the oily cheese, submarining this entire pie. The crust is incredibly thick and doughy, essentially the bulk of the pizza, neither crispy, nor tasty. There really isn’t one redeeming quality about this pie. This is Philly trash pizza at its worst, tucked away in a Jersey Shore strip mall at the beach. They should really refer to the beach communities below Atlantic City as “The Philly Shore,” cause the only thing Jersey about this pie is its location. I can honestly say this is the worst pizza I’ve ever had at the Jersey Shore. Maybe their cheesesteaks are decent but I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here for their pizza. Hard pass on this barnyard explosion.
